A friend and I went on the Opal Creek Wilderness Hike late last August. We went later in the day by ourselves, and it was a little rainy. We made it to Jawbone Flats, but then we turned around because it was getting late, and we didn't want to be out by ourselves as it was getting darker.

Flash forward almost a year later!
Joel & I went with some friends on a Sunny day and hiked past Jawbone Flats to the Opal Pool.
