Even though we are in the peak of our rainy season here in Oregon, swimsuit season is upon us. Suits are out in the department stores, on-line, and every one is talking about getting in shape for the summer. Hence comes the dilemma of being a small, curvy, busty woman who likes to be modest, but fashionable at the same time and not have to break the bank to find a suit that meets all my criteria. It is one of my most infuriating fashion issues. Forever 21 plus sizes has adorable cute, colorful, stylish one piece swimsuits right now. Unfortunately, while I am not skinny, I am not a plus size person and cannot wear these suits.

Forever21+ The Fringe on this suit looks glamorous |
Below, however, is the garbage that they offer in the regular sizes. Might I add that they have a million boring skimpy bikinis and only a few ugly "one pieces" if that's what you want to call some of these bizarre designs.

This is the only true one piece for regular sizes. It's OK, but not my taste.

Like the fringe, but again, black, low V and no sides? This may be a one piece but my love handles would NOT love this (I know I need to get rid of those love handles!)

Don't worry, I saved the best for last. While I appreciate that this offers full coverage on top, what is up with the bottom? It looks like a diaper? Or perhaps something you would see on the world wide wrestling federation? I wouldn't wear this even if I did have the body for it!
I did perhaps, however, find a winner at ASOS.com. While it is more expensive than Forever21, it is in a regular size and it's colorful!

Happy Thursday & just keep swimming!
Such pretty swimsuits, I love the fringing on the second one.
